The Nigeria Physiotherapy Network will host a Special Interest Group (SIG) International Meeting of Nigerian Physiotherapists during the forthcoming WCPT conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands, June 20-24, 2011. All Nigerian physiotherapists who will be in attendance at the WCPT Conference are hereby invited to attend.

This planned meeting is similar to the first one held 4 years ago in Vancouver, Canada which yielded a lot of dividends in moving Physiotherapy forward in Nigeria. (Click here to see report of the Vancouver meeting). The planned meeting/forum will present an opportunity for Nigerian physiotherapists from Nigeria and around the world (who are in attendance) to meet and discuss strategies to move Physiotherapy forward in Nigeria. It will also serve as a forum to rally colleagues in the diaspora to support efforts back home to move our noble profession forwards.

- Rev. Adeoluwa Jaiyesimi - President of the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy
- Mr. Joshua Dele Jogunola - CEO/Registrar of the Medical Rehabilitation (Therapists) Registration Board of Nigeria
- HODs or Lecturer Representatives of Nigerian Physiotherapy Schools who may be in attendance

Rev. Jaiyesimi, Mr. Jogunola and PT Program HODs will use the opportunity to address Nigerian Physiotherapists from all over the world who will be present at the conference on the current plans and activities to move Physiotherapy forward in Nigeria. Other agenda for the meeting are as follows:
