Nigerian PT Education Milestone - DPT Program for Nigerian PTs
History was made August 16-20, 2011 when a 3-person Team from the University of Michigan-Flint arrived Lagos, Nigeria to organize orientation program for Nigerian PTs enrolled in an online tDPT program with the UMFlint.

Dr. Emmanuel.B. John Donates E-Library to Alma Mata
Dr. Emmanuel B. John, an Alumnus of the Department of Physiotherapy, College of Medicine, University of Lagos has donated a computer set with latest software and over 140 electronic textbooks and a non-expiring anti-virus package, all valued at over One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N1.5m), to the Department of Physiotherapy, College of Medicine, University of Lagos. The Provost, Prof. O.A. Atoyebi and other CMUL officials were on hand to receive the gift. Enjoy!

Giving Back Program ships Physiotherapy text-books and Equipment to New PT Program in Nigeria
The "Giving Back Program" initiated by the Nigeria Physiotherapy has successfully shipped two batches of physical text-books and equipment to the new Physiotherapy Program at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi, Anambra State Nigeria. This pilot program to help support physical therapy programs in Nigeria is just a beginning of efforts by Nigerian trained physical therapists in the diaspora to give back.
